Founder and president of the Observatory of the Social and Ethical Impact of Artificial Intelligence (OdiseIA).

 

Member of the expert team of the European Parliament's Artificial Intelligence Observatory.

 

She is currently working on the configuration of the AI ​​regulatory sandbox pilot program with the Spanish government.


She is a PhD professor at CEU San Pablo University, specializing in ethics and regulation in artificial intelligence.

 

She is the author of four books on the social impact of AI and other emerging technologies.

 

Her latest publications are: ‘The Algorithm and I: A Guide to Coexistence Between Humans and Artificial Beings’ and ‘The Myth of the Algorithm: Tales and Accounts of Artificial Intelligence’.

 

She is an advisor for Spain on the Advisory Board of the International Group on

 

Artificial Intelligence (IGOAI), a founding member of the Springer journal ‘AI and Ethics’, and a member of the Global AI Ethics Consortium (GAIEC).

Ziad Alahmad holds a PhD in Global Studies (Language and Culture Studies) from Tokyo University of Foreign Studies (TUFS) and has extensive teaching experience at several Japanese universities.

 

He is currently a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Arab and Islamic Studies and Oriental Studies.

 

His research focuses on the integration of (forced) migrants, particularly those from Arab and Muslim-majority countries, with an emphasis on social inclusion, public attitudes, identity formation, and integration policies in host societies.

 

 

From a methodological standpoint, she possesses a solid background in mixed-methods research, combining qualitative and quantitative approaches.

 

 

His specialization includes thematic and discourse analysis, large-scale public opinion surveys, and advanced statistical analysis.

 

Through this approach, her work articulates empirical data with theoretical debates in migration and global studies.

 

His research has been published in various international peer-reviewed journals, contributing to interdisciplinary discussions on migration, religion, and multiculturalism.
